Santa Monica Softball Academy SPRING BREAK CAMPS!
Santa Monica Softball Academy offers quality instruction for ALL LEVELS of softball. Instructions will be given by professional softball coaches. Players will practice pitching, catching, hitting, fielding and base running. This developmental program is designed with a direct emphasis on learning the primary fundamentals that lay down the foundation for elite play in softball.
Players are typically grouped by age and ability.
Players should wear softball attire daily, including hats and cleats, sunscreen and water for hydration. Lunch is available for order thru Subway with delivery on day of camp.

SMSBA Hit Factory Spring Break Hitting Camp!
SMBA's four day hitting camps are designed to focus on improving a player's hitting skills through specialized instruction, drills, and repetition.
Players will use hitting machines, batting cages and one on one instruction. We emphasize core techniques, swing mechanics, hitting for power, plate zone identification, using strength building techniques with speed and agility !
Players should wear softball attire, including hats and cleats, sunscreen and water for hydration.
Ages: 10-14

Week 2: April 6-9th

Santa Monica Softball Academy Elite Softball Spring Break Camp!
We concentrate on fielding, hitting, pitching, throwing, catching the RIGHT way with true fundamentals! We lay a foundation of elite sports performance training to enhance players athleticism, to make them more explosive, quicker and more dynamic!! If you bring it, you will get it from us! Every day is a new day of learning and fun in a positive environment with excellent coaches! Players learn the proper techniques for fielding, throwing, how to swing the bat properly, pitching fundamentals, speed and agility to help their athleticism and game!
Elite camp players get our SMBA light weight string backpack with SMBA Team pin, sports bracelet, batting grip tape, and SMBA tee-shirt!
Lunch is available for order thru Subway with free delivery on day of camp before noon.
Players should wear baseball attire daily, including hats, cleats, sunscreen and plenty of water for hydration. Please bring a snack, lunch, water and sunscreen.

We are back with CREST!
Once again we are joining the CREST program to bring the joys and fundamentals of Softball to elementary school girls!
Learn to Play The Game The Right Way! SMSBA has top coaches for our SMSBA CREST Spring program! Our after school program is for beginners, intermediate and advanced players for ALL LEVELS of softball. After school, players will get individual attention, knowledge, and skills at their level of development for strong confident softball players.
Our spring program is designed to teach proper fundamentals, learn proper techniques and advance each player's skill-set so they are ready for Spring softball 2026! Players will practice proper throwing mechanics, catching, hitting, fielding and base running. This developmental program is designed with a direct emphasis on learning the primary fundamentals that lay the foundation for elite play in softball. Our coaches know how to work with your player so they can be the best that they can be!
Hitting Instruction: Players will train with SMSBA hitting coaches! Coaches will break down their swing mechanics, stance and power! We will work on their hit game after school with our coaches and get better today for their game in 2026! Players will do skill work in hitting, tee work, strength training, increasing velocity, balance, swing and identifying pitches. Players must have a solid foundation with hitting for this session! For grades 4-5 only.

About Coach Andee
Professional softball player May 2005 to October 2019
After her division 1 all American college softball career, she went on to play the highest level professional softball in various countries and locations around the world. Including the US , the Netherlands. Italy, and Asia. She was a pitcher, hitter and first baseman, and accomplished in all positions at high statistical performance levels, and would start in every line up at either position and as a hitter.
She is currently the Marymount High School assistant varsity coach and pitching coach.

Our Coaches
Coach Mariela
Mariela played at Los Angeles Harbor College and then took her talents to Graceland University in Iowa. Still playing! She now pitches for an all-women’s U-trip team. Mariela has coached all ages and all levels of softball as a private pitching instructor and high school coach for over 8 years. She is the pitching coach for the SMSBA 10u and 12U Club teams!
Coach V
Coach Victoria is a former high school varsity player, Division 1 player and Umpire, who has also played for the Congressional Softball Team out of Washington D.C.! She is the assistant 12U Club Team coach and is a top coach with SMSBA!
Coach Aileen
A standout varsity high school player, Coach Aileen is currently playing middle infield at Santa Monica College! She is one of the coaches for our SMSBA 10U and 12U teams. She loves coaching the younger players at our camps and clinics!
Coach Cassandra
Coach Cassandra is a former high school varsity and collegiate player who has been coaching our camps, skills clinics and our club teams. She is our head catchers coach and she can swing it! A power hitter on our SMBA Adult softball team, she backs it up with her play and her bat!
Coach Maco
Coach Maco is our collegiate intern from KAUS Universty in Kyoto. She has been dynamic on the field with players and the language of softball has been fluent! A middle infielder and hitter, she has helped players at every level imprve their game!
Coach T
Coach Taira is a former varsity high school player who has brought her A game to coaching with SMSBA! While still attendng college, she hs brought her skills to our program and every player who she coaches has gotten better!

Coach Ilene
SMSBA welcomes Coach Ilene to the team! A former varsity player, she started her collegiate softball career at Pasadena City College. She then received a Division 1 scholarship to play at Alcorn State University! After her playing career, she remained at Alcorn as the Graduate Assistant Coach for 3 years. During her time as a Graduate Assistant, Coach Ilene coached at clinics/camps and now brings her talent to SMSBA!
