Emma is a home grown product who took her talents to varsity high school softball and made her way to the University of Arizona and she is now finishing up her education at SMC where she is excelling as a current player on the softball team! This softball veteran has been with the best and she is coaching with the best at SMSBA!
Hello my name is Kenedee Jamerson and I currently play softball at Cal State University Northridge. I am a pitcher as well as a first baseman. I also hit so I will definitely be available to assist in all parts of the game. I have worked many camps in the past and I am confident in my ability to get kids excited and motivated to play the sport of softball. I have learned many positive things through my experience of being a softball player and my goal is to teach what I’ve been taught to younger girls and help them have fun in this great game.
A Santa Monica local, Segal was a highly regarded all-star player and a force on travel teams. A utility player she could play anywhere on the field, but was especially talented as a catcher and short-stop. She competed at a very high level throughout her young life and participated in state wide and national tournaments!
In 2017 and 2018 "Gilly" played in ALL 36 of her college games! A big time hitter, she led the team with 25 runs scored and 16 RBI's. She capped off a tremendous season connecting on the game-winning RBI single in CUNYAC playoffs! She loves coaching and she loves being a winner too at SMSBA!
Coach Erika was a four year varsity pitcher who took her playing career to college playing at Chemeketa College in Oregon and also at Pasadena City College. She loves travel ball and coaching and is coaching our SMSBA 10U squad!
Coach McDowell was a varsity player at Culver City H.S. and earned a scholarship to play in college! She is a fierce competitor and her smile is as big as her game!

Join us for a series of clinics which can show you how to go about teaching many of the key fundamentals of the game to young players. These clinics are designed to help you, regardless if you are new to the sport or have coached for many years, enhance both your knowledge and teaching skills so you are better prepared to help guide every player on your team to a safe, fun and rewarding experience.
Our coaching clinics are a great opportunity to learn more about the game so you can pass these fundamentals to your team and your more confident working with your child or teammates. Parents will learn the type of games and drills they can do which will enhance the players experience as well as teach! We break it down so you can easily teach the proper mechanics for throwing, hitting, fielding and catching!
Coaches should come properly attired and we recommend bringing a glove and a bat. If you don't have one - no problem!.

The SMBA Coach Training is a weekly program that covers a lot of fundamentals and team play to give our parent coaches the best positive experience possible. A highly progressive program that has many layers of coordination and planning to help you be a better coach this season! We value our parent coaches attending each and all sessions. Due to the commitments from staff an coaches to undertake this incredible experience, there will not be refunds or prorating for days missed, excused or otherwise.

A fun four week instructional online tutorial youth baseball/softball hitting program to introduce the fundamentals of hitting twice a week. This developmental program is designed for 6-12 year old participants, with a direct emphasis on learning the primary fundamentals that lay down the foundation for elite play in hitting for baseball and softball
Coach Howard will teach players how to hit at the next level each and every session. In this online tutorial, batters will develop fundamental skills learning a proper batting stance the mechanics for a proper swing, how to be properly balanced, how to stride and to follow through with their swing. Players will also learn proper plate etiquette, how to read pitches, plus a fundamental batting approach for practice and games.
