  Mariela played at Los Angeles Harbor College  and then took her talents to Graceland University in Iowa. Still playing! She now pitches for an all-women’s U-trip team. Mariela has coached all ages and all levels of softball as a private pitching instructor and high school coach for over 8 years.  She is the Head Coach for the SMSBA 10u and 12U Club teams!

A standout varsity high school player, Coach Aileen is a former "Defensive Player of the Year" at Santa Monica College and is now currently playing middle infield at Long Beach College! She is one of the coaches for our SMSBA 10U and 12U teams. She loves coaching the younger players at our camps and clinics!

Coach Mikala is excited to be a part of the SMSBA coaching staff. She bring a wealth of experience to the team, having played Division I softball as an outfielder and designated player at Siena University. She has a passion for coaching and has worked with a wide range of talent, from 12u rec teams to 18u travel teams.  Her goal is  help our players grow and develop their skills at a varsity level and more!

Coach "A" currently plays at Santa Monica College and coaches our camps and our skills clinics! A dynamic player, she coaches pitching, fielding, hitting and catching!

  Coach Victoria is a former high school varsity player, Division 1 player and Umpire,  who has also played for the Congressional Softball Team out of Washington D.C.! She is the assistant 12U Club Team coach and is a top coach with  SMSBA! 

Coach Cassandra is as electric as she is dynamic!  Coach Cassandra coaches pitching and catching at SMSBA! She is our head catching coach and also coaches pitching and hitting!

 Professional softball player May 2005 to October 2019

After her division 1 all American college softball career, she went on to play the  highest level professional softball in various countries and locations around the world. Including the US , the Netherlands. Italy, and Asia. She was a pitcher, hitter and first baseman, and accomplished in all positions  at high statistical performance levels, and would start in every line up at either position and as a hitter. 

She is currently the Marymount High School assistant varsity coach and pitching coach. 

SMSBA welcomes Coach Ilene to the team! A former varsity player, she started her collegiate softball career at Pasadena City College. She then received a Division 1 scholarship to play at Alcorn State University! After her playing career, she remained at Alcorn as the Graduate Assistant Coach for 3 years. During her time as a Graduate Assistant, Coach Ilene coached at clinics/camps and now brings her talent to SMSBA!
