Fall Ball Xtra Prep Session!

 College prep is everything! Hit a home run this summer with your student-athlete with dynamic softball skills training and earn better scores with our SAT/ACT prep classes while working on their softball game at the same time! We are working on college applications and learning how to write a successful college essay, prep for the SAT/ACT in the morning and work on high value concept softball drills in the afternoon! This affordable camp is designed to teach SAT (Scholastic Aptitude Test) skills and prepare players for college entry with the best scores possible. Monday & Wednesday’s the student athlete will construct a perfectly well-written personal statement they can use for their Common application, fully edited and ready to go! Tuesday’s and Thursday’s we work on SAT/ACT prep and Friday’s we will work on application assistance and building a best-fit college prep list and guides to apply! Players will learn effective test taking skills and strategies while practicing on full-length SAT practice tests 

SMBA has teamed up with former collegiate baseball players, who created PROJECT SPEED to 'Empower Motivated Athletes'. What that means is teaching athletes basics to strength and conditioning. We teach warm-ups, sprint technique, plyometrics, and speed workouts for our SAT/ACT prep camp!

Few decisions have as great an impact on a student. Families may find themselves at a loss to properly evaluate their options and make appropriate choices.  

 SMSBA winter camp will keep you on your game! Players will practice pitching, catching, hitting, fielding and base running.  Instruction is appropriate for all ability level from beginners to advance!  This camp is designed to support players with professional instruction that young players don’t normally have access to due to limited time with their regular leagues and/or teams. Our winter camp program improves the skills of infielders and outfielders of any age.

Santa Monica Softball Academy offers quality instruction for ALL LEVELS of softball. Instructions will be given by  softball coaches who know the game! Players will practice pitching, catching, hitting, fielding and base running. This developmental program is designed with a direct emphasis on learning the primary fundamentals that lay down the foundation for elite play in softball.   Ages 6-14

     • Players should bring their own gloves to camp.   

 • Players should wear a hat and sunscreen.    

• Players bring their own bats 

 .• Catchers must bring own gear  

  • Baseball pants and socks are recommended  

  • Players are responsible for packing their own snacks, and drinks.
